Lake Agassiz Pacers Meeting
February 4, 2010

Members present: Patrick & Theresa Gross, Monica Fedora, Dale Summers and Eric Loeffer.

Treasures report: Monica moved money into checking to pay for towels and other expenses for St. Patrick’s race.

Membership: Brenda should have new membership updated by February 13th.

Old Business: None were discussed

New Business:

President Monica called the meeting to order at 5:33 pm on February 4th, 2010. Lap news letter needs a person for an article to be written on. It was discussed to do it on Robert Shear. Someone needs to ask him yet.

Jon will be updating the Web page sometime soon.

Valentine’s Day race will be on February 13, 2010 at Seasons at Rose Creek. Monica said she will be getting some college students to volunteer to help at the race. We discussed what categories to have for the race. It was decided to have coed: cupid, married, dating and just friends. People were able to choose what item they wanted when they signed up for the race. Door prizes that will be given away included; bread, eggs, candy, wooden hearts and other goodies.

The St. Patrick’s Day race was discussed. Pat is to call a few Port-a-Potty companies and get prices for two Port-a-Potties. Towels will be given out as registration gifts. The towels are green and are embroidered with the LAP name. There will be a kid’s race before the adult’s race. Kids will be given ribbons for prizes after their race. Awards will be given for best green outfit.

We need volunteers to help with the race.

Food will be given out after the race, which will include bread and bananas.

Other things discussed were possible having a race in mid June or July at Lindenwood Park.
